How much will hiring Perfect Day Mobile Creche cost?
This varies from creche to creche and is mainly dependent upon the number of children attending and the location of the mobile creche. We do insist on a minimum of three members of staff for creches of four or more children and a minimum charge of 3 hours, including half an hour at the beginning and end of each mobile creche to set up and clear away. How many staff will be working in the mobile creche?
We work to the Ofsted recommended ratios so the number of staff is directly linked to the number of children attending and how old they are. These ratios may be increased to allow us to properly care for children with additional needs.
Who will be working in the mobile creche?
Every mobile creche we provide is staffed by a team with the manager holding at least a Level 3 professional qualification in childcare. It is normal for other members of the team to hold similar qualifications. There will also be a qualified first aider and staff with experience of working with children with additional needs can be provided. All of our staff are recruited on the basis of their references, experience and enthusiasm for working with children.
Is Perfect Day Mobile Creche registered with OfSTED?
No. This is because we do not have a permanent base for our creches. Should we provide a mobile creche at a venue on 14 or more occasions in one year it would be necessary for us to register.
Do you have insurance?
Yes, we are insured with Morton Michel and have Public Liability Insurance of £3m. Our insurance certificate will be displayed at each mobile creche.
Do you provide mobile creches in our area?
We are based in Berkshire and mainly cover the south of England. We are however prepared to travel to meet your needs.
What do we need you to provide?
We need a room that is large enough to accomodate the number of children you wish us to care for and that is suitable to set up a mobile creche in. If you are providing a meal for the children we will also need an appropriate place for them to eat and this can be in the same room as the creche. Our staff will also need a meal if the mobile creche is over a normal meal time and from experience it is much nicer and more sociable for the children if we are sat eating the same as them. If you do not wish to provide a meal for the mobile creche staff then we will bring our own packed lunches.
Does Perfect Day provide cots for babies to sleep in?
Although there remains insufficient evidence to prove a cause and effect relation between the toxic bacteria that can be found in used mattresses and Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, we are not prepared to take any risks. We therefore ask that parents and carers provide their own travel cots or pushchairs for children to nap in while in the mobile creche or later if using Perfect Day babysitters in the evening.
